Louis Armezzani is a former professional MMA fighter, IBJJF black belt jiu jitsu competitor, and jiu jitsu gym owner with 20+ years of coaching and competing experience to his name.
Louis started training jiu jitsu at 21 years old at the Royce Grace Jiu Jitsu Academy in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After two years of training, he received his blue belt from Royce.
Armezzani received his black belt in 2014 from Jason Ratchford and Ailson “Juacao” Brites. Louis has been coached by Tony Passos for the past 7 years.
Louis has an unmatched passion for teaching and has channeled this passion into one of Southwestern Pennsylvania’s most well known jiu jitsu academies.
Louis’ gym, Armezzani Jiu Jitsu Academy, is located in Monaca, Pennsylvania where he offers training for gi and no-gi jiu jitsu for kids and adults, ADCC submission grappling, and kid’s MMA.
