Tyler Berger’s Bio:

Tyler Berger is one of the best Nebraska Cornhuskers in recent memory. Berger is well known for his aggressive style, clean technique, and his takedown systems.

Tyler is a 4x Oregon high school state champion and competed for Crook County High School. He was able to compile a 198-3 record and was heavily recruited by multiple division one wrestling programs.

Berger chose to attend the University of Nebraska and wrestle in the Big Ten Conference for the Cornhuskers. He was a 3x NCAA All-American and 2019 NCAA Finalist.

On the Men’s Senior Freestyle stage, Berger competes at 70 kgs and is a 2x USA National Team member. Berger was the 2023 US Open Champion, defeating both Hayden Hidlay and Sammy Sasso to claim the crown.

Tyler was also a volunteer assistant coach at Nebraska following the end of his collegiate career.

In 2022, Berger moved to Philadelphia to train at the Pennsylvania Regional Training Center to train for the World and Olympic Championships.
