Hey everyone. Please ask any questions you have here and I will get back to you!

@rby – On your first go behind, I noticed that your left hand is in your partner’s armpit. Is there an advantage to gripping up high vs gripping down lower toward the elbow?
-
Yes better leverage. The guy can bend his elbow and get his arm back Vs up high.

Many of these moves seem to be unorthodox. Is much of this stuff you learned or stuff that you did through trial and error and implemented into your style?
-
It’s all about drilling properly during practice and wrestling hard in live. I just try to be creative.

I have a problem on the first go behind. When I go to circle to break the lock, I can’t seem to get their left arm to get off my leg so I can circle behind. What should I do to get both hands on the mat.
-
You can use your other hand to push his arm to the mat. Sometimes you need to back away further but then chase the leg if you need to.

If you are in a regular front headlock position with free legs like in the second drill, are you backhand and blocking when chasing the corner or do you normally short drag? Not sure if that makes sense. Thanks
-
Whichever you prefer! I like to drag because i have better control of my opponent.
