Instructor Bio:

Francisco Cuneo, also known as ‘Paco’, is an Argentinian grappler with black belts in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cuneo began his martial arts background in Judo at the age of 16.

In Judo, Cuneo was a 10x Argentinian National Champion and National Team Representative between 2005-20014 – an incredible feat. He has also secured a silver medal at the Pan-Am Championships in 2009, as well as a Bronze medal at the Olympic Festival Idalgo in 2014.

Francisco has also found numerous successes in the Jiu Jitsu world. After beginning formal BJJ training in 2014, Paco’s judoka background allowed him to rapidly progress and achieve the rank of blackbelt in 2016 from Ricardo De la Riva.

In 2019, Cuneo began training at Unity Jiu Jitsu in New York City under Murilo Santana, where he currently calls home. Paco has won an IBJJF No-Gi Pan American Championship and is currently ranked #2 in the Overall Top 10 Adult Male No-Gi Black Belt Rankings and #1 in his weight class.
